Graitec Joins the United Nations Global Compact Initiative

Graitec has joined the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, reinforcing the company’s commitment to responsible business practices and long-term sustainable impact.

The UN Global Compact is a call to companies everywhere to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption, and to act in support of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This announcement formalizes a culture that has long been embedded within Graitec. The company has consistently referred to and upheld the ten principles of the UN Global Compact through its internal policies and practices.

This new commitment also builds on Graitec’s previous engagement with the United Nations Women’s Empowerment Principles, signed in February 2023, which reflect the company’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. Joining the UN Global Compact represents a further step in Graitec’s sustainability journey.

Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, with more than 20,000 companies based in over 160 countries, and more than 60 Global Compact Networks.

As a participant in the initiative, Graitec will use this framework as an opportunity to further structure and align its ESG reporting with the UN Global Compact principles, while continuing to strengthen its responsible business practices.
