Uni-Frame Inventor Peter Shipps, of Pro Vision Design, LLC, Announces Sale of the Intellectual Property for the Uni-Frame^® Structural Floor Transport System

Pro Vision Design, LLC, a subsidiary of Shipps Group, LLC, proudly announces the successful sale of the intellectual property (IP) for the Uni-Frame® Structural Floor Transport System to Uni-Frame, LLC, co-founders, Daryl Snader and Heath Sartini. Uni-Frame, LLC, will lead the future growth, development, commercialization, and expansion of the groundbreaking Uni-Frame technology.

Conceptualized, developed, and patented by Peter Shipps, Founder and Principal of Pro Vision Design, LLC, the Uni-Frame system was created to transcend the way modular, manufactured, panelized, off-site, and hybrid construction buildings are designed, built, transported, and installed. The sale of the intellectual property to Uni-Frame, LLC, marks an exciting milestone, and ensures the continued advancement and development of the technology under the new expert leadership team while honoring Peter's expansive vision for the patented innovation.

For Peter Shipps, this transition represents more than a change in ownership—it represents the continued evolution of a system whose origin began with Architecture and Construction.

Peter Shipps is known by many as ‘The Project Whisperer’, a moniker that denotes his astuteness in design and construction along with his ability to simplify complex projects through his thoughtful ingenuity and practical approach to projects and people. Widely recognized as a solution-minded innovative designer, builder, and visionary, Peter built his first home at just 18 years old. He has spent decades dedicated to his craft and to his clients through designing, building, planning, managing, and delivering distinctive  residential, commercial, luxury hospitality, and other specialized projects such as luxury RV Resorts and RV Port Homes, as well as contributing his time, along with his family, to community involvement and mission outreach.

Uni-Frame was born from that perspective—and it is now a streamlined, highly adaptive system that goes beyond residential modular construction having been designed by Peter to perform in a multitude of ways. For Architects and Designers, Uni-Frame reduces restrictive design constraints and empowers creativity. For Builders and Developers, Uni-Frame enlarges product selection, minimizes site disturbance, simplifies site work, and can act as a crossover system for on-site and hybrid methods of construction. For Manufacturers, Uni-Frame optimizes plant operations and floor space, reduces handling, improves efficiency, and creates new opportunities for modular and industrialized construction. For relief agencies it is a capable foundation for restoration efforts.

“Recognizing the constraints of unyielding regulations and limitations and having the ability to develop creative solutions to work within those constraints is one of my most treasured skill sets.” says Peter. “As well, realizing the benefit of a specialized transportation team to further advance the Uni-Frame system, I sought help in locating modular transportation industry experts. The introduction to Daryl and Heath came through industry partners Kevin Lockhart and Eric Scott, Co-Founders of TinyMod, LLC. I knew right away that Heath and Daryl were exactly the right fit. My attention will now turn to consulting and collaborating with the Uni-Frame team in the advancement and applications of the Uni-Frame System.”

As the industry continues to embrace off-site construction, Daryl Snader and Heath Sartini see tremendous opportunity to expand Uni-Frame's impact across North America and beyond.

The transition also reflects the strong relationship between Pro Vision Design, LLC, and Uni-Frame, LLC. Peter will continue supporting the integration of Uni-Frame within the industry through consulting services for those seeking to implement the Uni-Frame system in their endeavors. Peter notes that Uni-Frame capabilities go far beyond residential construction. His attention will also now turn to Crossover Cottages, LLC, another subsidiary of Shipps Group, LLC, that was established as the benchmark for Uni-Frame and for which the Uni-Frame system was designed. Peter and his family share a passion for accessible design born of their life experiences. Together they have created a specialized design collection that is coming soon. Peter adds, “Crossover Cottages is much more than our own product for our own designs and purposes. It is also a platform we intend to make available to other industry professionals desiring to fulfill a vision of creating their own signature designs, product, and brand.”
