L'Université d'État de Virginie à Ettrick, en Virginie, a accueilli une classe de première année plus nombreuse que d'habitude pour l'automne 2023. Modular Genius, Inc. a été engagé au début du printemps pour fournir des dortoirs modulaires temporaires pour 268 étudiants en utilisant un contrat d'État basé sur un bail de 24 mois.

La solution
Modular Genius, Inc. a conçu et construit trois complexes de dortoirs modulaires temporaires comprenant 134 chambres, pour un total de 49 632 pieds carrés. Les trois dortoirs modulaires disposent d'une buanderie commune, d'une cuisine et d'un salon, de douches et de toilettes pour les résidents. Chaque dortoir temporaire comprend également un local pour les colonnes montantes d'arrosage, un placard informatique et un placard pour le concierge. Les résidences modulaires ont été conçues pour répondre aux exigences du code résidentiel de l'État de Virginie, et les systèmes d'extinction automatique et les détecteurs de fumée ont été installés par Modular Genius.
